STAMFORD, CT — Today, Eilish Collins Main, Democratic candidate for Connecticut’s 146th State House District, announced that she has raised more than $5,800 from over 150 Stamford residents and local supporters in just four days after launching her campaign. Beyond the momentum indicated, it also means that she has reached the threshold required for the Citizens’ Election Program grant pending confirmation by the State Elections Enforcement Commission.
“From throughout Stamford, the fast outpouring of support from our diverse and passionate community is truly humbling. Thank you to every single person who donated to fuel our impactful movement to bring positive change,” said Collins Main. “The enthusiastic response in such a short amount of time says loud and clear that residents are ready for new leadership in the 146th State House District and are responding with real enthusiasm for our grassroots campaign. At this time, I look forward to speaking with more Stamford voters about their concerns and hopefully earning the Democratic City Committee’s formal endorsement.”
