Since launching my campaign for state representative in April, I have had the opportunity and privilege to speak with hundreds of voters by knocking on doors, calling, attending local events, and being out in the community. Through these venues, I’m often asked about my top policy concerns. My constant response is improving our schools, addressing the housing crisis, and tackling liveability and affordability in Stamford.

Eilish Collins Main declared herself the winner of the Democratic Party’s primary in the 146th District in Stamford Tuesday night, according to The Associated Press.

STAMFORD, CT — On Friday, July 12, former Speaker of the Connecticut House of Representatives Moira Lyons and Stamford city Representative Terry Adams, who both previously represented the 146th State House District in Hartford, officially announced their endorsement of community advocate and endorsed Democrat Eilish Collins Main to serve the 146th State House District.

The Stamford Democratic City Committee recently endorsed a slate of candidates for this November's election.

“‘I have been attending events all over the district while speaking with Stamford residents about their concerns,’ Collins Main said in a statement. ‘It’s clear that they’re ready for new leadership for the 146th State House District that will address what matters to them.’”

STAMFORD, CT  — On Wednesday, May 22, Stamford Democratic City Committee (DCC) delegates formally endorsed community advocate Eilish Collins Main as the Democratic nominee for the 146th State House District by a vote of 5-1.

Businesswoman Eilish Collins Main, who has a background in marketing and business development in the education and technology sector, declared her candidacy on Wednesday, April 24. She is seeking the Democratic nomination.

Collins Main said in an interview with The Stamford Advocate that she receives legislative updates from the state representatives and senators who represent parts of Stamford in Hartford, and she has found that the issues Michel focuses on “are not relevant” to the residents of the 146th District.

Today, Eilish Collins Main, Democratic candidate for Connecticut’s 146th State House District, announced that she has raised more than $5,800 from over 150 Stamford residents and local supporters in just four days after launching her campaign. Beyond the momentum indicated, it also means that she has reached the threshold required for the Citizens’ Election Program grant pending confirmation by the State Elections Enforcement Commission.
